ANNBBF Men's Physique
Men's Physique

In the Men’s Physique division, competitors are evaluated on overall balance and skeletal structure, emphasizing a lean, well-conditioned physique with moderate muscle mass that presents an athletic and aesthetically pleasing appearance.
The Men’s Physique division does not require the level of muscle mass or the extremely low body fat seen in the Bodybuilding division.
Competitors are required to wear board shorts (surf shorts) during the competition.
In all quarter turns, competitors are required to place one hand on the waist, clearly distinguishing the division from Bodybuilding.
Bodybuilding-specific posing is strictly prohibited.
Judging is based on a comprehensive evaluation of the following elements: overall balance and skeletal aesthetics; appropriate muscle mass and conditioning; low body fat; a small, tight waist; a clear V-taper; moderate abdominal definition; stage presence and presentation (staging); and overall visual appeal.
