ANNBBF Classic Physique

ANNBBF respects the origins of bodybuilding and has therefore introduced the Classic Physique division.
As a natural bodybuilding federation, Classic Physique is not established as a category with less muscle mass.
It is also not intended to be a category with less conditioning than Bodybuilding.
Without affecting the Bodybuilding category,
Classic Physique introduces its own distinct posing requirements and judging criteria.
Classic Physique places particular emphasis on symmetry and presentation, evaluating the artistry expressed through posing.
Judging is based on a comprehensive evaluation of the following elements: overall symmetry; muscular balance and proportion; appropriate muscle mass and conditioning; posing that embodies the classic style; and stage presentation and artistry.
Attire Regulations
Posing Trunks
The fabric must be opaque; side straps must be at least 2.5 cm in width; and the front must provide adequate coverage.
The back may be either pro-cut (designed to emphasize muscular lines) or full-back style (with more coverage).
Embellishments such as rhinestones or metallic materials are permitted; however, excessively flashy designs are not allowed.
Posing trunks must always be clean and free from damage or transparency.
If a violation of these regulations is confirmed, the athlete will not be permitted to compete on stage.
The competition will be judged in a two-round format.
Prejudging Round
-
Comparative judging will be conducted from the lineup.
-
If there are more than 10 competitors, the Final Round will be limited to the top 10 athletes.
-
Excessive pre-posing movements may result in point deductions.
Final Round
-
A free posing routine will be performed.
-
The duration of the free posing routine varies by competition; please be sure to confirm the specific time limit for each event.
-
In the free posing round, overall presentation is evaluated, including muscle conditioning, expressiveness, and routine composition.
Classic Physique will be officially introduced starting in 2026.
Official posing images are currently being prepared.
Please wait for further updates until they are released.
The Classic Physique division will be conducted in accordance with the judging criteria of the WNBF (World Natural Bodybuilding Federation).
Judging standards and posing structure will follow the official WNBF guidelines.
